A Busy Summer in the Canary Islands

The International Church

God has blessed us greatly in the international church. We are growing and expanding our reach to the international community. Currently our services are being held in a hotel meeting room. We ask that you pray with us for God’s blessing as we search for a permanent location for Christian Life International Church.

Tell The Story

We are grateful, but very much aware that God has a purpose for all of us being here. We are here to “tell the story” of Jesus Christ. Through the summer, we have been preparing, and now we are ready to launch a faith-filled evangelism outreach campaign called “Tell The Story”. We are extremely focused on the need to share the true story of Jesus Christ with the people of our city.

“Tell The Story” will involve a variety of outreaches in our church and community. Specifically, our first public outreach event will be in November. Please pray for God to use us effectively to share the message of the Gospel here in Las Palmas.

The Bible School

We have also had a busy summer preparing for a new term of classes at the Bible School here in the islands. Pray with us that 2013 will be a breakthrough year when the Bible school will go to the next level of growth and impact.

Church Planting

We have identified the first area where we believe it will be possible to plant a church. The greatest long term impact we can make here in the islands is to facilitate new church plants. We are praying to the Lord for the right direction, the right timing, and God’s provision for everything that needs to happen to successfully plant our first church here on Gran Canaria.

We ask for your prayers in these four areas – the international church, the evangelism project, the Bible school, and church planting. We carry the responsibility very seriously for what the Lord has given us the opportunity to do with our lives as we serve Him here.
