Today, Briana started school at The American School of Las Palmas (www.aslp.org). She is in the 3rd grade. The school uses an American based curriculum which allows Briana to stay compatible with schools in the United States and prepares her for a college in the USA (one day a looong time in the future, but still important). The classes are taught in English, but she has Spanish as a subject. She also learns Spanish because almost all of the students in the school speak Spanish as a first or second language. We feel like the quality of the education is excellent, and it is also a good social and cultural experience for Briana. At the end of the first day, she was all smiles.
So glad to hear that Briana is enjoying school! I know how important that is. Zach is a 5th grader and Morgan is an 11th grader. Thanks for sharing her smile with us!
